Park Warne

For over 50 years, Park has worked as an artist and across all areas of the entertainment industry, including technical theater, film, television, theme parks, events, and everything in between.

After graduating with an MFA in Stage Design from Florida State University in 1980, he worked as a theatrical scenic artist and designer until the early 1990s. After settling in Pittsburgh, PA, he started his own company — Park Place Studio — specializing in broadcast television set design. Over the next 25 years, Park and his team completed over 250 projects in the U.S., China, Trinidad, the Bahamas, Japan, Italy, and Germany.

Park sold his business in 2016 and was recruited to work on theme park design projects across Asia for Universal, Disney, and Fox. Since returning to the US, Park has continued to work in the entertainment field as an Art Director for films shooting in Pittsburgh. Between projects, he has also developed his painting practice, an idea he has been pursuing for 40 years.
