Trish Foley

Trish is a multidisciplinary creative storyteller and visual artist based in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania. With a passion for blending traditional and digital mediums, her drawings, paintings, photography, video, and animation have been featured in both analog and digital publications as well as national and international art exhibitions.

Driven by curiosity and innovation, Trish continuously explores new and historical media technologies to craft compelling, layered storytelling experiences. She is currently weaving together decades of professional design experience, artistic practice, and personal narrative into a powerful mixed-media body of work that explores her journey as an adoptee. Through hybridized visual storytelling, she examines themes of identity, belonging, birth trauma, and healing.

Her work speaks directly to young adult (YA) adoptees navigating the complex emotions of identity loss and searching for understanding and restoration.
Trish studied Fine Arts from Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA), Visual Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University (Richmond, VA), and New Media & Web Design from the Academy of Art University (San Francisco, CA). She has built a diverse career across the Film & TV, graphic design, and academic industries.

Above all, Trish is deeply committed to connecting with fellow artists and adoptees, creating spaces where creativity becomes a catalyst for healing, self-discovery, and purpose.

We are all part of the same story. What’s your role?
