Clay is a dynamic, dimensional surface that grants me the freedom to build my own canvases and innovate with unlimited possibilities. Driven by color and texture, I use pigmented slips and engobes as my paints, layering with various techniques such as collaging, stamping, monoprinting, drawing, and carving directly onto the form.

While I frequently experiment across diverse mediums, I have found that these explorations are ultimately a way to inform and deepen my connection to clay. By incorporating elements like acrylic, cold wax, charcoal, and paper collage after the firing stage, I push the boundaries of traditional ceramics and expand its potential as a medium for intuitive storytelling.

Working with clay is a continuous process of discovery and growth. Embracing its inherent challenges has taught me patience, non-attachment, and trust in my intuitive creative process. Each piece reflects this ongoing journey, honoring both the foundational craft and the evolving freedom of expression.
