My name is Jeff Bertrand I’m an artist based in Pittsburgh Pa . I consider myself a maker of the unusual . Part lowbrow part folk art part dark art .

I create cartoony imagery with an underlining narrative of the ever approaching looming darkness of being a cog in the machine of capitalism and how it feels being stuck there . A lot of my work questions the American experience . We are being sold a belief that if we just work hard enough we too will have a chance at that dream .
